1 Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Sukli App handles information on Android and iOS devices. By installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy. Sukli App is a privacy-first, offline POS and tindahan management app for sari-sari stores, karinderya, and small businesses across the Philippines — account registration, cloud syncing, and internet access are not required to use core features.

Sukli App helps Filipino business owners manage sales and POS transactions, automatic sukli computation, utang tracking and partial payments, daily sales monitoring, customer payment records, and basic business summaries. All information generated through these features is stored locally on your device. Unless you personally export, transfer, back up, or share it, it never leaves your device.

2 Information We Collect

Sukli App follows a minimal-data principle. We do not operate central servers that receive or store your business information.

2.1 Stored locally on your device

  • Sales and transaction records
  • Product names, descriptions, and prices
  • Customer names or labels used for utang tracking
  • Payment records and partial-payment history
  • Daily and historical sales summaries
  • App settings, preferences, and configuration

2.2 Information you voluntarily provide for support

If you contact us through email, app store reviews, or any official channel, we receive only what you choose to share — used solely to assist you.

3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • User accounts, usernames, or login credentials
  • Passwords, PINs, or authentication tokens
  • Banking, card, or e-wallet account details
  • Government-issued identification numbers
  • GPS, geolocation, or precise device location
  • Advertising identifiers (AAID, IDFA) or cross-app tracking IDs
  • Usage analytics, behavioral telemetry, or session recordings
  • Marketing or user-profiling data
  • Cloud backups of your business data
  • Cloud AI processing of your sales or customer data
  • Contacts, photos, microphone audio, or camera images

Our privacy commitments

4 Offline-First Design

The following core features operate fully offline:

  • POS transactions and sukli computation
  • Utang recording, partial payments, and due-date tracking
  • Daily and historical sales reports
  • Dashboard, analytics, and best-seller views
  • All product and pricing management
  • Sukli Assistant AI — processed entirely on-device

No business data is automatically uploaded to external servers under any circumstance.

5 Permissions Requested by the App

  • Storage / file access — to save and read your local records, backups, and exports.
  • Notifications — to display in-app reminders (e.g. due-date alerts for utang) if you enable them.
  • Internet permission (Android) — declared so the App can be downloaded and updated through Google Play; not used to transmit your business data.

You can review or change permissions at any time through your device settings.

6 No Advertising and No Data Monetization

The App does not sell information, integrate ad SDKs, use your data for advertising, share records with data brokers, or participate in behavioral advertising ecosystems.

7 Third-Party Services

Distribution relies on platforms operated by third parties: Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and your device manufacturer / OS provider. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

8 Exports and Backups

File creation is always user-initiated. When you choose to export, back up, or share business data, you become responsible for the security of those files. Any external storage (USB, SD card, email, third-party cloud) is governed by those providers' privacy policies.

9 Support Communications

Information you voluntarily provide through support channels is used only for diagnosing technical issues, answering feature questions, bug reporting, and customer service. Never sold, never used for advertising.

10 Device Security and Your Responsibilities

  • Enable a device password, PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication
  • Keep your OS and Sukli App updated
  • Create regular backups using the App's export features
  • Avoid sharing your unlocked device with unauthorized persons
  • Immediately secure your device if lost or stolen
  • Install apps only from official sources

11 Data Retention and Deletion

  • Use in-app deletion options for specific records
  • Uninstall the App to remove its locally stored data
  • Perform a device factory reset to remove all data

We hold no copies of your business data on external servers — there is no remote deletion request needed.

12 Children's Privacy

Sukli App is intended for adult business owners. It is not designed for or marketed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction).

13 Your Rights Under Philippine Law

Sukli App is designed to respect the principles of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Because business data resides only on your device, you maintain direct control and may at any time access, correct, delete, or export your data.

14 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date, published revisions on official channels, and in-app notification where feasible.
